ADDRESSING CONCERNS OF

Crepe Skin and Laxity

Crepe skin affects people of all skin types and is surprisingly common. Learn about our new procedure to help address this common skin concern.

What is Crepey Skin?

Crepey skin is a condition that affects the skin to lose elastin. While crepey skin is similar to wrinkles, it typically will present in larger areas of the body as much thinner, fragile skin. The skin may feel loose and potentially sag in certain areas.

What Causes Crepey Skin?

Contrary to popular belief, age is not the largest factor! The main cause of crepey skin and loss of elastin is sun damage. Constant UV exposure causes the fibers in the skin that allow it to stretch and return to its normal position to break down, which results in skin laxity. Other factors that affect the onset of crepey skin include age, loss of collagen, extreme weight loss, or lack of moisture.

What to Expect

A separate consultation is needed to ensure that this dermal filler technique is an appropriate treatment for the area(s) of concern. This consultation is included at no charge to you! Proper expectations and goals of the treatment will be set by one of our expert Master Nurse Injectors.

The technique uses a a mix of dermal filler to help restore the areas of lost volume, while acting as a bio-stimulatory agent that helps stimulate the body's own natural collagen production. The ending result is a beautiful, natural look.
